Anamika
From the beautiful city of Kolkata, Anamika felt inspired by “the crowd, the clothes, the foods, the culture, the sounds of vehicles, tea stalls and gossips sessions.” For her, the city of Kolkata is the centre of every emotion she could experience. After starting her career with designer Kiran Uttam Ghosh, as an assistant, Anamika became associated with leading garment export houses of Kolkata. As Head Merchandiser and dealing with designs and art from countries like Spain, Italy, France, Belgium and Australia, the atmosphere of art hugely motivated her to start something of her own. As a result, Anamika’s brand ‘Happy Crafts’ came into being and she started creating designs straight out of her imaginations. Her aim is in the brand name; to make people happy with her artistic creations.
